Warehouse Supervisor
Company/Position Overview:
Thuasne is a mid-cap medical device company, manufacturing class I and class II devices, committed to providing high-quality products that enhance patient mobility, function, and quality of life.
This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse, in addition to being one of the key managers in the Company that provides input for improvement for the warehouse operation and improvement opportunities in the entire organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Plans, oversees, and reviews the present and future functions of the warehouse department
Manages all warehouse staff
Responsible for all finished goods inventory including daily and weekly cycle counting
Organizes the warehouse for efficient inventory management
Participates in corporate development, including active involvement in Lean improvement activities, along with a member of the Safety Committee
Responsible for purchasing all warehouse supplies in a cost efficient manner
Perform general maintenance of warehouse equipment, as required
Ensure a high degree of detail and focus in daily warehouse functions by providing problem solving skills and input to improve warehouse operations
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience required
Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving procedures
Prior experience with bar coding software and hardware required
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Forklift certification

Core competencies requirements for this position include applicable education, training or certifications, previous experience, and on-the-job training, and are documented in the training plan for the position. Competency is evaluated beginning on date of hire and will be verified after all job function and evaluation requirements are completed. Additional tasks may be required as business needs dictate. Individual goal plans will be defined, and performance indicators may be modified as technologies and market conditions evolve.
Working Conditions:
Primarily based in a warehouse setting with frequent walking and standing. Involves working around machinery, forklifts, and conveyors. May include occasional lifting, bending, and repetitive motion. Some desk and computer work required for inventory management and communication. PPE may be required in certain areas.
