Position Overview:
Manages Territory Consultants and Distributors. Improve the team’s overall sales performance by finding or improving our Distributor and Direct Sales Teams by gaining credibility, hence gaining selling time with our sales force.
Key Responsibilities:
- Models the Core Values and Mission Statement of Thuasne.
- Product responsibilities include Rehabilitation Splinting, Phlebology, Lymphology, Soft Bracing, and Orthotics.
- Ensures that the regional sales team has a functional knowledge of all internal and competitor products.
- Manage field representatives including Independent Sales Representatives, Territory Sales Consultants, and Patient Service Representatives.
- Recruit new employees, distributors, territory managers and patient service representatives.
- Understand the Performance Management Cycle to manage people and to manage performance / activities.
- Review and take action on monthly territory activity reports.
- Schedule and log regular field visits and offer sales support.
- Understand and chart the payer situations in the territory.
- Follow Budget guidelines and manage expenses through pre-planning.
- Maintain a partnership with Training Team for new hire training program for sales representative onboarding.
- Maintain and enhance key account relationship with sales region.
- Act as liaison between executive management and sales team.
- Work with executive management to determine and achieve sales strategies and sales growth objectives.
- Provide product in-service education at conventions, conferences, and within the sales region, as needed.
- Provide new product ideas and competitive intelligence to management.
- Organize sales data in a meaningful format for the sales team and independent sales reps.
- Work with Sales Management team to develop performance standards.
- Management and use of CRM Microsoft Dynamics, and BI Tool QlikSense.
- Attend and manage local, regional, and national industry trade shows.
- Consult with the marketing department on sales materials and ensure their adoption and use within the sales region.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
- · Bachelor’s degree required
- · 8 + years of leadership experience required
- · Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- · Experience in healthcare sales
- · Experience with Dynamics or comparable CRM system preferred
- · Knowledge of customers, competitors, and market conditions
