Flatbed Knitting Machine Operator

Thuasne has an immediate opening in Kansas City, KS for a 3rd shift Flatbed Machine Operator!
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
(Additional 10% per hour shift differential also added to hourly pay rate!)*

Key Responsibilities

Able to perform all duties of a Flatbed Operator

Fills out set up cards for material changes

Inspects knitted product as specified in SOP’s

Able to recognizes and identify bad product

Communicates with other operators on other shifts

Recognizes improper set up and makes appropriate changes

Performs minor repairs (by changing needles and jacks)

Communicates with maintenance of any machine issues

Follows priorities and MO due dates when completing work

Reports work in IFT app

Actively participates in department Quality meetings and Lean initiatives

All other duties as assigned, including helping in other departments as needed

Qualification Requirements

Education-high school or equivalent

1-3 year's experience manufacturing

Knowledge of calculator, maintenance tool equipment, knitting tools
